Description
The excellence of research and innovation produced in Portugal was demonstrated throughout the day in a disruptive environment with the presence of companies, Interface Centres (CIT), Startups, Competitiveness Clusters and Collaborative Laboratories (CoLabs).
The opening session was held by António Bob Santos, Director of ANI, and the Secretary of State for Economics, João Correia Neves.
There were several technological demonstration spaces, as well as two stages where it was possible to attend several thematic panels, with the presence of more than 60 Portuguese technology and innovation institutions. "Innovation and Competitiveness: challenges for the decade", was one of the panels that counted with the contributions of Ben Westmore, Ana Correia, Alípio Jorge and Enrique Rey.
The PRODUTECH cluster, as the only national cluster with an approved project (until 2018), in the scope of H2020 R&D innovation, was invited to participate in the panel "Horizon Europe: doubling the ambition". Pedro Rocha, Executive Director of PRODUTECH, participated in the panel discussion.
This exhibition proved to be a unique opportunity to interact with promoters of over 100 technologies developed by Interface Centres, Clusters, Higher Education Entities and technology-based companies.
