Framed by the project "PRODUTECH Qualification 2020", co-financed by COMPETE, the PRODUTECH Open [Solutions] Days returned to the agenda of activities of the PRODUTECH cluster, having been organized three events during the last semester, two of which in companies using production technologies, namely POLISPORT and CORDEIRO E CAMPOS, and one in an entity of the national scientific and technological system, CENTIMFE – Centro Tecnológico da Indústria de Moldes, Ferramentas Especiais e Plásticos.
These events were attended by several representatives of companies in the production technologies sector, as well as entities of the National Scientific and Technological System (ENESII), who had the opportunity to see in loco the production processes of the host companies, POLISPORT and CORDEIRO E CAMPOS, and the technologies and innovations developed by CENTIMFE.
The PRODUTECH OPEN [SOLUTIONS] DAYS are events organized in leading companies of various sectors of the national manufacturing industry, for an audience consisting of companies in the field of production technologies and entities of the National Scientific and Technological System (NSTS) and aim to identify solutions, capabilities and skills that meet the needs/challenges identified by the companies hosting these events in terms of their production processes and production technologies, and explore business opportunities and cooperation, either in the context of R&D, Innovation or Technology Transfer.
The PRODUTECH OPEN [SOLUTIONS] DAYS organized in NSTS organizations aim, in turn, to demonstrate the capabilities, skills, technologies and innovations developed by the host organization and how these can respond to the challenges and needs of the national industry.
“PRODUTECH Qualification 2020” project is part of the COMPETE Support System for Collective Actions (SIAC) and aims to create basic conditions that allow the transition of the Advanced Manufacturing sector to the Industry 4.0 paradigms, based on digitization, green innovation and on the efficient and circular production.
