Description
The session took place in person at PRODUTECH's facilities and featured an excellent panel of experts, including Ben Shariati, Director of SEATEC, Inc., and Tiago Pedrosa, Coordinating Professor at ESTiG, Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal, Integrated Member of the Research Centre for Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI) and SusTEC – Associated Laboratory for Sustainability and Technology in mountain regions, Affiliated Researcher at CCG/ZGDV.
The proceedings began at 9:30 am with a brief introductory note by Pedro Bravo, Project Manager at PRODUTECH, followed by a presentation on the PRODUTECH DIH project by Manuela Azevedo of PRODUTECH. Next, Bárbara Costa presented the C3Norte Project.
Following the presentation of both projects, specialist Ben Shariati addressed highly relevant topics, concluding the morning's work:
• Presentation of the main themes and new compliance obligations (NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act)
• "Security by Design" initiative;
• Main concerns of sector partners;
The session continued in the afternoon, after a networking session where Ben Shariati also had the opportunity to present some practical cases related to the industry.
Specialist Tiago Pedrosa then addressed the following topics:
• Challenges related to sovereignty and dependence in the supply chain;
• Approaches to OT Defense;
• The need for a cybersecurity agenda for the industry.
The session, which was attended by about two dozen participants from various companies and associations, ended around 6:00 PM with a networking session.
