A.PIRES LOURENÇO is a Portuguese company with a history stretching back over 70 years, which has built its success on the production of high-quality ham, combining tradition, industrial rigour and continuous improvement. Ten companies from the production technology sector took part in this PRODUTECH OPEN SOLUTIONS DAY @ A. Pires Lourenço, where they had the opportunity to see A. Pires Lourenço’s production processes and its main challenges first-hand.
As part of the PRODUTECH DIH initiative, the PRODUTECH OPEN SOLUTIONS DAYS are events organised at leading companies across various sectors of the national manufacturing industry, aimed at an audience comprising firms in the production technologies sector and organisations within the National Science and Technology System. They seek to identify solutions, capabilities and skills that address the needs and challenges identified by the host companies regarding their production processes and production technologies, and to explore opportunities for business and cooperation, whether in the fields of R&D, innovation or technology transfer.
