Description
PRODUTECH and AIMMAP, in close collaboration, promoted the participation of the PRODUTECH R3 project at the MOTEK 24 fair, which took place in Stuttgart, in the industrial heart of Bavaria, Germany, from 8 to 11 October 2024.
Nine partner organizations of the project accompanied AIMMAP and PRODUTECH in a joint participation that caused a very positive impact on the thousands of visitors who passed through the fair over four days.
Aurimoldes, Atlos by CME, INEGI, Infinite Foundry, Inklusion, Muvu, Neadvance and Softi9, thus represented with enormous quality, the Mobilizing Agenda for the Production Technologies Sector.
In fact, as highlighted by Teresa Martins Machado, head of Neadvance, "participation in fairs such as MOTEK can enhance the ability to make partnerships, and one of NEADAVNCE's objectives is to find partners that enhance the software and products developed in the company. In fact, we have always worked on consortium projects, which allows us to always be close to the universities' centers of knowledge."
For Jorge Serrano Pinto and Liliana Rebelo, representatives of Softi9, who presented at the fair a new software developed under the PRODUTECH R3 Agenda, they highlight that participation in PRODUTECH R3 is seen as an opportunity to develop new products and innovate existing products.
On behalf of Infinite Foundry, Bruna Bento says that "the PRODUTECH R3 Agenda has been a strong catalyst for the company, connecting it with important research centers, and with user companies."
All the dynamics created by Agenda at Motek 24 were applauded by Tiago Santos from Muvu Technologies, who underlined that he had contributed to the company's internationalization process. "It is initiatives of this nature that help to overcome two major problems in the country: marketing capacity and the construction of consortia" concluded Pedro Marçal from Atlos by CME.
In fact, this is a medium-sized fair, but highly specialized in production technologies, so it is the ideal environment for Portuguese companies participating in the PRODUTECH R3 consortium to present the quality and specialization of their solutions to the most demanding markets.
Historically, this event has had around 25,000 visitors annually, 500 exhibitors from 22 countries and 50% of the visitors belong to the Special Machine Components, Packaging and Process Technology sectors.
Gil Leite, who participated in the fair on behalf of INEGI, underlined the excellent selection made by AIMMAP and PRODUTECH, since MOTEK is seen as a prestigious international stage to present the results of the project, a perspective shared by André Barbosa, Bruno Nascimento and João Dias, responsible for Inklusion and Paulo Tavares from Aurimoldes.
It was undoubtedly a successful participation, where interesting contacts were made and an excellent opportunity to promote globally the technologies that are being developed for the PRODUTECH R3 program.
