Description
Developed in collaboration by INTROSYS, Colep Packaging and CATIM, the article "Innovation in the Metal Packaging Industry: A study on the impact of automatic quality inspection in this sector" presents a comprehensive analysis of a wide spectrum of inspection techniques, from manual visual inspection to the sophisticated mastery of cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial vision, ultrasonic inspection and artificial intelligence-based systems.
By carefully analyzing the strengths and limitations of each approach, this study seeks to identify the most effective and adaptable use cases to meet the diverse needs of quality inspection. It aims to contribute with a comparative analysis between existing solutions and emerging technology, highlighting the advantages and innovative characteristics that can contribute to a democratization of quality control in the production of metal packaging.
