Description
Between October 8 and 11, 2024, INEGI participated in the Motek Fair, held in Stuttgart, as part of the Produtech stand, where it presented the latest advancements in the Pilot Projects (PPS) of Work Package 2 (WP2), centered on the theme "Design2Transform."
This innovative project focuses on the implementation of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software developed by Sistrade, which incorporates the LeanDfX module. This decision-support tool aims to optimize product design, promoting the creation of innovative and sustainable solutions across various industries.
The software will be applied by three demonstrator companies: CEI, which is developing a stone cutting machine for the ornamental stone sector; JPM, responsible for the design of a collaborative palletizer for industrial automation; and Desafios em Sintonia, which is creating a machine for manufacturing caps. Through the use of LeanDfX, these companies aim to improve the efficiency of their design and production processes, reducing environmental impact and increasing the competitiveness of their products in the market.
With this project, INEGI and its partners aim to promote the transition to a more digital and circular economy, using technological innovation as a tool to address the challenges of modern industry.
INEGI’s participation in Motek 2024 reflects its commitment to driving the development of technological solutions that add value both in the national and international markets, contributing to the transformation of production chains and to business sustainability.
